Next-gen Jetta under camo

here's a shot from motor authority and it looks like the upcoming Jetta's roof line takes some inspiration from a coupe with how steeply raked it is. Just hope that won't affect rear window visibility.

Would be nice if the Jetta gets a R trim instead of just a R-Line appearance package. It'll probably just include a few appearance mods and some alloy wheels.

Are you hoping to see a performance engine as an option or bespoke suspension system? I don't see either options as a likely offering as the Jetta is supposed to be a reasonably priced model.

A higher performance engine would be ideal, maybe a 2.0L turbocharged engine with around 200 hp? Of course it'll have to be priced accordingly to account for the increase in power and torque. But that engine in a light Jetta body would make for one fun sedan.

2.0l 6sp DSG at w/Tip would be an option for me. I've had a chance to ride 1.4l automatic model, nice car, great performances, amazing handling, but you always want more, right?
