The 2018 Volkswagen Jetta Is A Good Family Car

Here is a first overview of 2018 Jetta I found in the Internet from TopSpeed. What do you guys think about it?

Nothing really changed from the 2016 model year maybe a bit more chrome in the upper grille but not much else. The lack of updates just makes me more excited for the next gen Jetta.

It looks fine as a family hauler, but there's nothing exciting about the outgoing Jetta, something I hope VW will fix in the next gen model. Maybe some more interior chrome trim and a lift gate button for the trunk.

This is a common thing about cars like Jetta. They remain the same for quite a while and some people really like to see that. Some car owners prefer to have a stable model that going to last long and they don't want to see any changes in a short period of time.

Much like Honda and Toyota that do well in this segment, they don't have much to change, all they have to do is keep up with the times. Although so far Toyota has been making drastic changes from generation to generation.

VW is being a bit more conservative, maybe too much.

Well, Volkswagen did a good job with their Golf line, they've changed it drastically and in a better way IMO. Although, I agree that Toyota made some significant changes too, their thing with making two cars look almost the same (except sizes) is a bit annoying... As for me, their Avalon and Camry look absolutely identical.
