Some dealers to offer steep incentives

There is no denying that VW has done a great job with the 2019 Jetta, and it looks like some dealerships may be offering even greater discounts. Armstrong VW in Oregon will be offering up to $3500 off for qualified customers. This is thanks to their various discount programs which include the College Graduate Program, Military and First Responder Program and Volkswagen Loyalty Bonus. Similar deals may be found at your local dealer, so its worth looking into.

Great to see further price drops and an already very affordable MY. Unfortunately with all the scandals as of late, I'm sure VW is having a bit more difficulty in moving their new inventory.

This is probably the exact reason why dealers are having to offer such incentives. I would imagine this is part of their strategy for regaining market share, as I know loyalty towards the brand has taken a significant hit.

I believe sales have already begun to slowly inch back up, and I think with future models we will see a focus on fuel economy over all other specs. Smaller, more efficient engine options will also help to bring down the MSRP across their lineup.

VW will have to make whatever changes are necessary to bring interest back to the brand prior to their ID launch. We know that traditionally its much easier for someone to make the jump from a hybrid to an electric as opposed to an ICE.

The next VW Golf should help set the tone going forward and come to think about it, of all VW models everyone knows VW by, its the Golf.
I hear that this time around they want to bring it closer to BMW's quality of product.

that's quite impressive and could make up for any bad news that might come our and hurt Jetta values.

That's what I thought as well. The warranty is what gives me peace of mind. I feel like I made a good choice. I have 1000 miles on it in 6 days. It is definately a joy to drive.
